After downloading the update, launch the game and enjoy the latest update of the Caves and Cliffs.
Java Edition
Open your Minecraft launcher.
Be sure to update the Minecraft launcher to the latest version if it has not been updated.
Then go to the "Installation" tab.
Perform new installation of the latest version of 1.17.0.
After installation, Click the "Play" button to play the new Minecraft 1.17.
Bedrock Edition
Bedrock Edition is available for three platforms including Windows, PlayStation, and more.
Windows 10 version:
Go to Microsoft Store.
Search for Minecraft or just go to "Updates."
From here, click the "Get Updates" button to update Minecraft.
After installation you can enjoy the latest updates of Cave and Cliffs
For Xbox:
Go to My Apps & Games.
Search Minecraft and click on "More Options."
Then, go to "Manage games and extensions."
Select "updates" and update the game to the latest 1.17.
For PlayStation:
If the auto-update is enabled, check to see if the game has already been updated or not.
If not, search for Minecraft and select "Options."
Next, select "Check for updates."
All updates including Minecraft updates will appear.
